TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4070 SLAD ROAD (STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4070 Slad Road from its junction with Libby’s Drive to its junction with Peghouse Rise for a distance of approximately 320 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs on 15th February 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C226 WHITMINSTER LANE (FRAMPTON ON SEVERN PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C226 Whitminster Lane Road from its junction with Oatfield Road to its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 460 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of the National Grid.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 16th February 2026 to 17th February 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF C199 BISLEY OLD ROAD (STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the C199 Bisley Old Road to prevent any stopping, loading or unloading from its junction with Margaret Hills Place to outside the property known as ‘No 170 Bisley Old Road’, for a total distance of approximately 280 metres.

The reason for this restriction is to allow for topographical survey works.

There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said road is expected to be restricted from 08:00hrs on 16th February 2026 until 16:00hrs on 17th February 2026 only or until the said works have been completed whichever is the earlier. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407590 Mosley Road from its junction with Queens Drive to its junction with Stanton Road for a distance of approximately 80 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pole replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 09:00hrs to 17:00 hours on 17th February 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the said closure is for infrastructure maintenance and installation works. There will be no stopping, waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said road and footway are expected to be closed and restricted between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 17th February 2026 only or until the said works have been completed.

The reason for the said closure is for drainage works.

NOTICE RE: s53 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

THE DEFINITIVE MAP & STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY

ADDITIONAL PUBLIC FOOTPATH & SPUR ACROSS FRITH WOOD

NATURE RESERVE AND JUNIPER HILL FIELDS, PAINSWICK PARISH

MODIFICATION ORDER 2026

The above Order made on 29 January 2026, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them the following lengths of public footpath:

A length of public footpath across Frith Wood Nature Reserve in Painswick Parish, Gloucestershire commences at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“OSGR”) SO 8735/0845 at its junction with Public Bridleway NPA54 and runs in a generally westerly direction for approximately 22 metres and then in a generally west south westerly direction for a further 477 metres to OSGR SO8692/0821 at its junction with Juniper Hill fields. The footpath then proceeds around the field in a generally westerly and then southerly direction for approximately 309 metres to OSGR SO 8676/0804 before continuing in a generally southerly direction for approximately 223 metres to OSGR SO 8671/0783 at its junction with the 51146 publicly maintainable highway.

A length of public footpath across Juniper Hill fields in Painswick Parish, Gloucestershire commences at OSGR SO8692/0821 and runs in a generally south south easterly direction for approximately 247 metres to OSGR SO8698/0798 at its junction with Public Bridleway NPA52.
