What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wolverhampton City Council proposes to make the following Order under Sections 1, 2 and 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order is as follows:
1. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 1) ORDER 2026
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at any time on any day in parts of Coalway Road, Goldthorn Hill and Penn Road.
Existing Traffic Regulation Orders will be revoked to the extent necessary to facilitate the provisions of this Order.
2. THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (PENN) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 2) ORDER 2026
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at any time on any day in parts of Goldthorn Avenue, Goldthorn Hill and Westbourne Road.
Existing Traffic Regulation Orders will be revoked to the extent necessary to facilitate the provisions of this Order.
A copy of the Orders, Statement of Reasons and Plans showing the parts of the roads affected by the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours at the Main Reception, Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton and viewed online at

Any objection(s) to the proposed Orders should be made in writing to the undersigned by the 6 March 2026 stating the ground(s) for the objection(s).
