What is happening?
The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall
(Road From The B3254 Between Meadowside And North Beer Lane To Buttern, Boyton, Launceston)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to
temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for new mains supply works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th March 2026 to 18th March
2026.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From The B3254 Between Meadowside And North Beer Lane To Buttern, Boyton, Launceston between property known as Chelsfield Farm Holiday Cottages And Park and grid reference SX 27231 94795.

(Road From Jamess Cross To Junction North East Of Crosstown, Morwenstow, Bude)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to
temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude.
This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is
expected that the closure will be from 17th March 2026, for one day. The
prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays
only.
Road affected - Road From Jamess Cross To Junction North East Of Crosstown, Morwenstow, Bude for its entire length.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 17th February 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being
Road From Round hill Cottages To Junction South Of Rezare, Reza re,
Launceston between grid references SX 35948 78775 and SX 35941 78709.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because urgent works are
being executed on or near the highway to repair a cracked granite lintel on Lawley Bridge. The Order will come into operation on 18th February 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 19th June 2026.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 28th January 2026 for a period of 21 days. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes
of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
