What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Bazeleys Lane, Norton, Order 2026, No. 35 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Bazeleys Lane, Norton for a temporary period of 2 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 11/02/26 & 31/03/26, due to the removal of a hedgerow. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. All enquiries to Applebridge Construction - 01642233400 or see https://www.northvorks.aov.uk/roadworks-map Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2026 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Table - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Roads In The Village of Warthill, Prohibition of Waiting At All Times Common Lane, West side from its junction with Holtby to Warthill Road, to a point 20 metres north of the centreline of its junction with the Road to Agar Arms. Holtby to Warthill Road, West side from its junction with Common Lane, to a point 64 metres south of the centreline of its junction with the Road to Agar Arms. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Stamford Bridge Library, Church Road, Stamford Bridge, York, Y041 1 BP during normal office hours from 11/02/26 to 04/03/26 & also viewed online at www.northyorks. gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northvorks.qov.uk/ traffic-reaulation-orders. If you wish to object to the proposed Order,

you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing, addressed to Area 4 Kirby Misperton Highways Office, Beansheaf Industrial Park, Tofts Road, Kirby Misperton, Malton, North Yorkshire Y017 6BG or by email to Area4.Kirbymisperton@northyorks.gov.uk or via the website link above by 04/03/26. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Pickering Library, The Ropery, Pickering, Y018 8DY during normal office hours from 11/02/26 to 04/03/26 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northvorks.aov.uk/traffic-reaulation-orders.
