(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:

C144 Netherwitton To Pigdon from its junction with C142 Netherwitton Junction To Southward Edge Junction for a distance of 6000 metres in a south-easterly direction C144 Pigdon To Benridge Hagg Junction for its entire length.

C144 Benridge Hagg Junction To Fairmoor for its entire length. U6032 East Thornton Junction To Netherwitton Junction from its junction with C144 Netherwitton To Pigdon for a distance of 737 metres in a south-easterly direction. C138 Benridge Hagg Junction To West Moor Junction from its junction with C144 Benridge Hagg Junction To Fairmoor for a

distance of 650 metres.

C143 Stanton Hall Junction To Haredene Junction from its junction with C144 Netherwitton To Pigdon for a distance of 280 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 4th March 2026 until the 4th September 2026.

Work to be carried out in weather dependant phases: Phase 1 & 2 Pre-surface dressing patching and civils, Phase 3 Surface dressing, Phase 4 Lock chip, Phase 5 White lining and road studs.

It is expected that the road will only be closed for Phase 1 and 2 from the 4th March 2026 until the 12th March 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 4th September 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C142, C141, C136, A697, A1, A197, C144 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U6111 LESLIES VIEW MORPETH

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6111 Leslies View for its entire length in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 9th March 2026 until the 9th September 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th March 2026 until the 13th March 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 14:45 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 9th September 2026. There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.
