Chidden Holt, Temporary Road Closure Due To Fibre Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - CHIDDEN HOLT, HAMBLEDON, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Chidden Holt between its junction with Brook Lane and continuing to a point 200 metres North on Chidden Holt.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: East Street, Green Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 9th February 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
