Buckleswood Road, Leiston - Temporary Road Closure due to Construction of Level Crossing
What is happening?
Sizewell C (Nuclear Generating Station) Order
2022/853 – Article 19
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF BUCKLESWOOD ROAD, LEISTON
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing Buckleswood Road for approximately 370m from approximately 430m south of its junction with Abbey Lane to approximately 200m west of its transition to Westward Ho, to facilitate the construction of the Buckleswood Road level crossing for the Green Rail Route. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be Buckleswood Road, Buckleswood Lane, B1119, B1122, Westward Ho.
It is intended that the closure will be in place between Monday 2nd March until Sunday 22nd March 2026.
