(viii)  Modify the existing waiting restrictions on a lengthof Thomas Street, Heckmondwike (Waiting will be prohibited between 08:00 – 18:00 Monday – Saturday)

The purpose of this proposed Order is to introduce parking and waiting restrictions on roads within Kirklees to improve safety, accessibility, and maintain traffic flows.

Specifically, the order seeks to:

•   Extend the length of the existing limited waiting bay on Camroyd Street, Dewsbury, to facilitate short-term parking for customers at the Garage located here, in line with arrangements already in place for neighbouring businesses.

•   Correct the road markings on Church Street, Heckmondwike, to allow enforcement of the parking restrictions here, due to a technical administrative error in their original implementation – extend limited waiting and move and extend permit parking bay.

•   Relocate the permit parking bay on Cemetery Road, Heckmondwikeand implement limited waiting to allow access for the refuse wagon at all times into Frank Peel Close.

•   Introduce no waiting at anytime on Church Street, Cleckheatonto remove obstructive parking causing issues for residents at Church Grange.

These measures are intended to enhance road safety and accessibility for all road users.
