(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because painting works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway; Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall proceed along Centenary Bridge Footpath, Leeds in the Hunslet & Riverside ward, for its full length. A diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via: The Calls, Crown Point Road, Bowman Lane, Brewery Place and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Mon 16 Feb 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Suspension of Use of Cycleway & Prohibition of Traffic) Order – Leeds Valentine’s Fair
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public, Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is to introduce the following traffic restrictions to facilitate the holding of the Leeds Valentine’s Fair between Thursday 12 February and Sunday 22 February 2026. 1. No person shall proceed along the cycleway that runs between Cookridge St and Great George St; from 06:00 hours on Thu 12 Feb until 23:59 hours on Sun 22 Feb 2026. 2. (Temporary Bus Gate Restriction) Order 2026 – Bobby Collins Way, Leeds
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That because of the introduction of a new bus gate is required to facilitate safe operation of works taking place at Elland Road stadium, Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which will be that: No vehicle other than Buses, Taxis and Cycles shall use the new Bus Gate on Bobby Collins Way, Leeds; at a point 28m west of the junction with Lowfields Road.In addition, use of the existing Bus Gate on Bobby Collins Way located 160m west of the junction with Lowfields Road will also be suspended, in order to facilitate the new location. The Order shall come into effect on 12 February 2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months.
