Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -
The Isle of Wight Council (Newport Road, Niton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2026
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between Friday 13 February 2026, and Monday 16 February 2026, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newport Road, Niton. For its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact length of the closure. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Carriageway repairs.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Monday 16 February 2026 until 1800 hours on Tuesday 14 April 2026, or when the works has been completed, there will be a Temporary suspension of the one-way on Beachfield Road, Sandown this will be removed between its junction with Bay View Close and its junction with Grange Road. The Isle of Wight Council (Various streets, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Parking and no Waiting and no Loading at Any Time Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2026
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that at all times, between Monday 16 February 2026 until Tuesday 14 April 2026, or when the works has been completed, a ‘No parking and no Waiting and no Loading at Any Time’ parking restriction will be introduced along a) The Fairway, Sandown, for its entire length. b) Station Approach, for its entire length. and c) Perowne Way, Sandown for its entire length. on the West and North sides of the Carriageway on-street signage will depict the exact length. The restriction is required during utility works work in the area.
The Isle of Wight Council (Broadway, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary one-way restriction) Order No 1 2026
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that at all times, between Monday 16 February 2026 until Tuesday 14 April 2026, or when the works have been completed, there will be a One-way restriction in a north bound direction along Broadway, Sandown, between its junctions with New Street and its junction with Ranelagh Road. The Isle of Wight Council (Whitecross Lane, Lake, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of 6-foot 6-inch Width Restrictions) Order No 1 2026
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that at all times, for 5 days, between Friday 13 February 2026 and Friday 20 March 2026, or when the works has been completed, the 6-foot 6-inch width restriction will be revoked for Whitecross Lane, for its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact length. The revocation is required for carriageway maintenance, surfacing, hedging & quartering, lining and cats’ eyes work in the area.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 13 February 2026 and Friday 20 March 2026 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one day to 15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, lining and investigation works, and any associated pre works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Sunday 15 February 2026 at 0800 hours until 1800 hours on Sunday 15 February 2026 or when the event has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle, equestrian or pedestrian to proceed along a) Firestone Copse Road, Wootton, between its junction with Firestone Glade, Wootton and its junction with Havenstreet Main Road; b) Havenstreet Main Road, Havenstreet, between its point 60 m south west of its junction with Firestone Copse Road and its point 10 m north east of its junction with Stroud Wood Road; c) Stroud Wood Road, Ryde, between its junction with Havenstreet Main Road and its junction with Ryde Footpath 37; and d) Rowlands Lane, Ryde, for its entire length.
