THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(RENNEY ROAD, DOWN THOMAS)
ORDER 2026
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 16/2/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 27/2/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: RENNEY ROAD, DOWN THOMAS. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - GABBER LANE, BOVISLAND LANE, RENNEY ROAD, & VICE VERSA. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: REMEDIAL WORKS FOR WALL REPAIRS. THERE WILL BE A BANKSMAN ON SITE EACH DAY TO ESCORT ANY HGVS THROUGH THE SITE (DUE TO THE DIVERSION ROUTE ONLY BEING SUITABLE FOR LIGHT VEHICLES) & TO TURN IN & RE-INSTALL THE DIVERSION EACH DAY TO HELP WITH MINIMAL DISRUPTION.
