THE THANET DISTRICT COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2025
The Thanet District Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) in exercise of their powers under section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) and in accordance with the regulations made by the Secretary of State (The Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders) (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers hereby gives notice that the charges to be paid in connection with off-street parking places will, on 1st April 2025, be varied as follows -

A copy of the Notice of Tariff Changes, any Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined at the District Council Offices, Cecil Street, Margate, during normal office hours.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Notice or of any of its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made there under has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Notice was published, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
