Turnpike Road, Bracknell – Temporary Road Closure due to Carriageway Patching Works
What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:
a) Turnpike Road, Bracknell between B3408 Wokingham Road and Tippits Mead including Hombrook Drive.
The alternative route for this closure is Turnpike Road, Beehive Road, B3408 London Road, B3408 Wokingham Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway patching works.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 23rd February 2026 and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place on 23rd February 2026 until 25th February 2026.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
