Peel Green Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (PEEL GREEN ROAD) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Peel Green Road at the junction of Haddon Road, Eccles, M30 7DT.
The Order is necessary for the installation of additional drainage pipes to reduce the flooding risk within Peel Green Road. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 2nd March 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 19th April 2026. The diversion routes are via:
- Peel Green Road - B5211 Barton Road - A57 Liverpool Road - Peel Green Road, vice versa.
- Haddon Road - Alexandra Road - A57 Liverpool Road.
