ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

CUBBINGTON ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA (ACCESS ROAD)

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point opposite to Lillington Free Church to a point opposite to the junction of South View Road. Please note-the closures will be phased.

Reason for Order: To safely enable electricity network reinforcement.

Order Commences: 9 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 17 March 2026.

Access & Diversion: Cubbington Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from Manor Lane to The Cumsey.

Reason for Order: Drainage maintenance and associated works, 09.30hrs - 15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 9 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 9 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: Manor Lane, Star Lane, A4189 Station Road, Lye Green Road, The Cumsey and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable installation of boundary box and meter.

Order Commences: 11 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Welsh Road, Wormleighton Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic

Reason for Order: To enable repair/replacement of defective manhole covers and frame.

Order Commences: 13 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Wharf Street, Cliffe Way and vice versa.

CHURCH TERRACE, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable the repair or replacement of a manhole frame and cover near 1 Church Terrace.

Order Commences: 13 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 13 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: Church Terrace, Mill Street, Priory Terrace, Church Street and vice versa.

SCOTT ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from junction with Waverley Road to Alexander Road.

Reason for Order: To safely enable the installation of a new water pipe.

Order Commences: 10 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 12 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: Scott Road, Waverley Road, Alexandra Road and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

CAPE ROAD, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic In addition, the 7.5t weight restriction on West Street, High Street, Jury Street, Castle Hill, The Butts, Priory Road and St Nicholas Church Street will be temporarily suspended while works are in progress.

Reason for Order: To enable repair/replacement of defective manhole covers and frame.

Order Commences: 16 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 17 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: Cape Road, Northgate Street, Priory Road, St Nicholas Church Street, Castle Hill, Jury Street, High Street, West Street, Stratford Road, A46, Birmingham Road, Wedgenock Lane, Upper Cape.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Bowling Green Street to Brook Street. In addition, the One-way traffic flow on D4195 Brook Street from its junction with Swan Street will be temporarily suspended.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, overnight 23.50hrs - 05.30hrs.

Order Commences: 27 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 28 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: Bowling Green Street, High Street and Swan Street.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between properties number 32 and 50.

Reason for Order: To enable works for installation of a water pipe.

Access & Diversion: Moseley Road, Thornby Avenue, Arden Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Clarendon Avenue to Dormer Place.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to replace damaged columns and replace lighting on adjacent properties, 08.00hrs - 17.00hrs on 3 consecutive Sundays, 22 February, 1 March & 8 March.

Order Commences: 22 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 8 March 2026.

Access & Diversion: Dormer Place, Adelaide Road, Dale Street, Clarendon Place, Clarendon Avenue, and vice versa. Please Note: Junction Warwick Street and Regent Street will remain open. Junction Regent Grove and Hamilton Terrace will remain open for access only.

Access & Diversion: Stoney Lane, Mill Lane, Hockley Road, Five Ways Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Albion Street/Park Hill/ Stoneleigh Road and School Lane/Manor Road.

Order Commences: 22 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 22 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: Manor Road, A429 New Street, A452 (Bridge Street, Rosemary Hill), Upper Rosemary Hill, Albion Street and vice versa. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so for businesses and residents only.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with the A425 Myton Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, Sunday 08.00hrs - 16.00 hrs.

Order Commences: 22 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 22 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so for businesses and residents only. Vehicular access/egress to/from properties 180, 182 and 184 Myton Road may be restricted whilst works are in progress.

Order Effect: Cornwall Place closed to vehicular traffic in its entirety from its junction with the A445 Rugby Road. In addition, the one-way traffic flow on D4811 Rugby Road Service Road, Leamington Spa will be temporarily suspended.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs - 16.00hrs.

Order Commences: 22 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 22 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: No Suitable diversion.

Access & Diversion: Guy Street, Clarendon Avenue, Chandos Street and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with A445 Rugby Road. The One-way traffic flow on D4811 Rugby Road Service Road between Cornwall Place and Guys Cliffe Avenue will be temporarily suspended.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs - 16.00hrs.

Order Commences: 22 February 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 22 February 2026.

Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion.

WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(STARMER PLACE AND THE GREEN, HATTON GREEN, WARWICK)

(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Orders to:

1.  To introduce a 20-mph speed limit on the lengths of road described in Schedule 1 below which are currently 30mph by virtue of street lighting.

2.   Vary the existing Order titled “The Warwickshire County Council (A4177 Birmingham Road, A4141 Birmingham Road, B4439 Hockley Road, B4439 Old Warwick Road, Five Ways Road, Shaws Lane, Stoney Lane and The Green, Hatton) (40 mph and 50 mph Speed Limit) Order 2012” to introduce a 40mph speed limit on the lengths of road described in Schedule 2 below. A copy of the Orders, together with a plan showing the length of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Orders, may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick and on the Council’s website: https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
