(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because service pipe replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Baker Crescent, Morley, Leeds, for its full length from the junction of Baker Street. The Order shall come into operation on 11 February 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas mains replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Brown La East; from its junction with Top Moor Side to outside 19 Brown La East; 2. Runswick St between Top Moor Side & Bertrand St; 3. Crosby St; between Top Moor Side & Bertrand St; 4. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because Yorkshire Water infrastructure works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Watergate, Methley, Leeds; at its junction with Barnsdale Road and Church Side. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Church Side and Barnsdale Road, Methley, Leeds; at their junctions with Watergate. Diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closures will be available and signposted. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on 9 February 2026: The closure of Watergate is expected to commence on 9 February 2026 and is expected to be completed by 16 February 2026. The closure will be in place for 24 hrs each day. The closure of Barnsdale Road/Church Side is expected to commence on 14 February 2026 and are expected to be completed by Sunday 22nd February 2026. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because new electricity connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Grosvenor Mount, Headingley, between its junctions with Grosvenor Road and the junction of Cliff Lane. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available: Eastbound – via Grosvenor Road, Headingley Lane, Woodhouse Lane, Cliff Road, Cross Cliff Road & Cliff Lane. Westbound – via Cliff Lane, Cross Cliff Road, Cliff Road, Woodhouse Street, Headingley Lane & Grosvenor Road. The Order shall come into operation on Wednesday 11 February 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because painting works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway; Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed along Centenary Bridge Footpath, Leeds in the Hunslet & Riverside ward, for its full length. A diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via: The Calls, Crown Point Road, Bowman Lane, Brewery Place and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Mon 16 Feb 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas main replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park, stop or wait in the parking bay closest to the junction with Otley Road, outside 1a Kepstorn Road, Weetwood, Leeds. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thu 19 Feb 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works to install essential water infrastructure are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel southbound (inbound towards Leeds City Centre) along Swinnow La, Bramley, Leeds; between its junctions with Broad La and Swinnow Cres. 2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn left from Broad La onto Swinnow La. 3. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn right from Swinnow Cres onto Swinnow La. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Broad La, Upper Town St (A657), Lower Town St (A657) & Stanningley Rd. A diversionary route will be available for vehicles unable to turn left from Broad La onto Swinnow La:via Swinnow La, Leeds and Bradford Rd (B6157), Whitecote Hill, Broad La, Upper Town St (A657) and then following the existing diversion. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation at 08:00 hours on Wed 18 Feb 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Whitehall Road, Gildersome Lane, New Lane and Vice versa. The Order is intended to come into operation on Mon 16 Feb 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Suspension of Parking Bays) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because telecoms works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway; Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to stop, park or wait within those six parking bays situated along Low Lane, Horsforth; adjacent to numbers 128–116 Low Lane. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Sun 15 Feb 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Thu 19 Feb 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because drainage and resurfacing works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s);,Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Leeds Road, Scholes, at and from its junction with Smeaton Approach, to the roundabout at East Leeds Orbital Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Pendas Way, Manston Lane, Outer Ring Road East Leeds Orbital Route and vice versa. (Footway & Cycleway Closure Coal Road, Whinmoor, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because the creation of a safe working area for installation of services is required Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No pedestrian or cyclist shall travel along the footway and cycleway respectively, that run alongside Coal Road, Cross Gates, from its junction with Red Hall Lane Leeds. A diversionary route will be available via the shortest route running alongside of A6120 to A58 then alongside Red Hall Road, in both directions. The Order shall come into operation on Thursday 5 February 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Bus Gate Restriction)
Order 2026 – Bobby Collins Way, Leeds

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the introduction of a new bus gate is required to facilitate safe operation of works taking place at Elland Road stadium, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No vehicle other than Buses, Taxis and Cycles shall use the new Bus Gate on Bobby Collins Way, Leeds; at a point 28m west of the junction with Lowfields Road. In addition, use of the existing Bus Gate on Bobby Collins Way located 160m west of the junction with Lowfields Road will also be suspended, in order to facilitate the new location. The Order is intended to come into effect on 12 February 2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months.

Order – Leeds Valentine’s Fair

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following traffic restrictions to facilitate the holding of the Leeds Valentine’s Fair between Thursday 12 February and Sunday 22 February 2026. 1. No person shall proceed along the cycleway that runs between Cookridge St and Great George St; from 06:00 hours on Thu 12 Feb until 23:59 hours on Sun 22 Feb 2026. 2. No vehicle shall proceed along Cookridge St; from its junction with Portland Gate to a point 30m to the south; from 06:00 hours on Thu 12 Feb until 23:59 hours on Sun 22 Feb 2026.
