Loscoe Denby Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LOSCOE DENBY LANE, DENBY COMMON
WHEN: 06 February 2026 (09:30 to 14:30).
WHERE: Loscoe Denby Lane, Denby Common, for approx. 2000m from its jct. with A6007.
REASON: To facilitate surface defect repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A6007, A608, A609. Vice Versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
