High Street & Station Road - prohibit any vehicle from using or parking
What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Parking, High Street & Station Road, Scalby, Order 2026 No 48
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using or parking on High Street & Station Road, Scalby to enable footway slurry sealing works to take place, envisaged to take place in March 2026. High Street, Scalby between Scalby Road & North Street - 7th & 8th March - weekend works. Station Road, Scalby - 3rd to 13th March - excluding the weekend.
It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 01/03/26 until 31/03/26 inclusive, however the max duration of this Order will be until 31/03/26, as the works are weather dependant. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate.
