Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 5th February 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS (PARTS), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2357)
This order is to allow Milton Keynes City Council to undertake redevelopment works.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
Until 1st May 2026 (24 Hours)
Queensway, Bletchley – From its junction with Brooklands Road to its junction with Westfield Road (Phase 1)
Queensway, Bletchley - From its junction with Brooklands Road to its junction with Albert Street (Phase 2)
Brooklands Road, Bletchley – Its entire length (Phase 3)
Whilst Queensway is closed, the alternative route will be via Brooklands Road, Findlay Way, Victoria Road, Watling Street and Saxon Street and Princes Way (and vice versa).
Whilst Brooklands Road is closed, the alternative route will be via Westfield Road and Findlay Way (and vice versa).
Another effect of the Order will be to change Bedford Street, Bletchley from a southbound carriageway to a northbound carriageway.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BRADWELL ROAD BRADVILLE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2353)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following parts of road to allow Anglian Water to carry out new water connection works:
19th February 2026 – 23rd February 2026 (24 Hours)
Bradwell Road Bradville – Land adjacent 64.
Whilst the above closure is in place, the alternative route will be via Bradwell Road, Abbey Way, Mercers Drive, Kingsfold, Ashwood (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY RE01 (PART), REDMOOR) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2298)
This order is to allow Battery Box to undertake works to install a battery box concrete base, steel work and batteries.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of redway:
16th – 23rd February 2026 (09:30 – 15:30)
Redway RE01, Redmoor – from its junction with Merton Drive for 80 metres in a northerly direction.
Whilst the above length of redway is closed, there is no like for like alternative route so pedestrians will be guided through the closed area.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHILDS WAY OVERGATE TO V10, CAMPBELL PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2287)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road in order to allow Vodafone to carry out Telecoms Pole Swap with use of a crane.
17th February 2026 – 21st February 2026 (between 9:30am and 4:30pm each day)
Childs Way Overgate to V10, Campbell Park (Westbound) – From its junction with Overgate to its junction with Brickhill Street.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via the Brickhill Street, Portway, Marlborough Street and Childs Way (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MANIFOLD LANE (PART), SHENLEY BROOK END) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2319)
This order is to allow Hutchinson 3G to undertake telecoms works.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
16th and 17th February 2026 (09:30 – 16:30)
Manifold Lane, Shenley Brook End – from its junction with Wallinger Drive to its junction with Hartdames.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Wallinger Drive, Chaffron Way and Pickering Drive (and vice versa).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 3rd February 2026, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHILDS WAY V4 TO V6, WINTERHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2306)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road in order to allow Cornerstone Telecommunications to carry out pole swap works with use of a crane.
8:00pm 9th February 2026 – 6:00am 10th February 2026
Childs Way V4 to V6, Winterhill (Westbound) – From its junction with South Grafton Roundabout to its junction with Snowdon Drive.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Grafton Street, Portway, Watling Street and Childs Way (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SAXON STREET NEWPORT ROAD TO V8, STANTONBURY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2307)
This order is to allow Cornerstone Communications to undertake a Telecoms pole swap safely.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
12th February 2026 (Between 09:30 – 16:30)
Saxon Street Newport Road to V8, Stantonbury – From its junction with Newport Road to its junction with Marlborough Roundabout.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Marlborough Street, Monks Way, Brickhill Street, Wolverton Road, Newport Road, Grafton Street and Monks Way (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PRINCES WAY (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2329)
This order is to allow Milton Keynes City Council to undertake works for the Bletchley Transport Hub Project.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following length of road:
11th February – 6th May 2026 (24 hours)
Princes Way, Bletchley – from its junction with Saxon Street to its junction with Dynasty Drive.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Saxon Street, Watling Street, Victoria Road and Queensway (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, CALDECOTTE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2300)
This order is to allow National Grid to undertake trenching works in the area safely.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close the following lengths of road, one at a time, for 2 days between the prescribed dates below:
11th – 25th February 2026
Long Ayres, Caldecotte – Its entire length
Brantham Close, Caldecotte – Its entire length
Monellan Crescent, Caldecotte – From its junction with Brantham Close to its junction with Langford Place.
Whilst the above closures are in place there will be no alternative route for the closures to Long Ayres and Brantham Close.
The alternative route for the closure to Monellan Grove will be via Heybridge Crescent, Walton Road and Caldecotte Lane (and vice versa).
26th February – 13th March 2026
Home Field, Caldecotte – Its entire length
Walton Road and Caldecotte Lane, Caldecotte – From its junction with Hele Court to its junction with Martell Close.
Whilst the above closures are in place there will be no alternative route for the closure to Home Field.
The alternative route for the closures to Caldecotte Lane and Walton Road will be via Heybridge Crescent and Monellan Crescent (and vice versa).
Access for residents and services will be provided.
