What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(TRYSULL ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Trysull Road in both directions between properties 153-159.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 17th February 2026 until 20th February 2026.
The diversion route is: Oxbarn Avenue, Coalway Road & vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway defect repair works by Severn Trent Water.
