LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BOWERHAM ROAD, LANCASTER, LANCASTER CITY) (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING ON SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR (24-25 NO1E)) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 22 01 2026 Lancashire County Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of stopping on school keep clear markings Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, in Bowerham Road, Lancaster, the south west side, from a point 10 metres south east of its junction with the projected centreline of Cranwell Avenue for a distance of 43.56 metres in a north westerly direction.
This Order will come into force on the 09 February 2026. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Lancaster City Council, Town Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster, LA1 1PJ, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, PO Box 100, Preston PR1 0LD, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
quoting ref: LSG4/894. 19767/AFR. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
