THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

C42, Bothkennar Road, Carronshore from 07.30 hours on 09/02/2026 until 17.00 hours on 20/02/2026. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing works.
1. This Order temporarily closes C42, Bothkennar Road for a distance of approximately 650m from its junction with A905 to the M9 overbridge
2. The alternative route: A905, A88- South Bellsdyke Roundabout, A88- Bellsdyke Road, C116- Waterslap Road, C19- North Main Street, C42- Bothkennar Road and vice versa.

Ochiltree Terrace, Camelon from 07.00 on 12/02/26 until 17.30 on 18/02/26. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes Ochiltree Terrace, Camelon from its junction with Clarinda Avenue to its road end.
2. The alternative route is: No alternative diversion route available - local access to be maintained as far as practically possible.

Sharp Terrace, Grangemouth from 07.30 hours on 09/02/2026 until 17.00 hours on 13/02/2026. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing works.
1. This Order temporarily closes Sharp Terrace for a distance of approximately 170m from its junction with Newlands Road to its junction with Almond Street.
2. The alternative route: Newlands Road, Mackenzie Terrace, Almond Street and vice versa.

Webster Avenue, Carronshore from 07.00 on 09/02/26 until 17.30 on 13/02/26. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Webster Avenue, Carronshore from a point adjacent to Roughlands Roundabout in an easterly direction for approximately 650 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Roughlands Roundabout, B902 New Carron Road, Carron Roundabout, Carronshore Road, Webster Avenue or vice versa.

Gibsongray Street, Falkirk from 08:00 until 17:00 on 10/02/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Gibsongray Street, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Mungalhead Road in a southerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Mungalhead Road, Napier Crescent, Napier Place or vice versa.

Holly Avenue, Stenhousemuir from 09:30 until 18:00 on 10/02/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Holly Avenue, Stenhousemuir from a point adjacent to Ash Grove in an easterly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Not applicable
