Nether Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
NETHER LANE, HAZELWOOD
WHEN: 25 February 2026 (between 09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Nether Lane, Hazelwood, approx. 3095m from its Jct. with the B5023 for 200m.
REASON: To facilitate pole testing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nether Lane, Wirksworth Road, Ashbourne Road, Over Lane, Hob Hill and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
