Liffs Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LIFFS ROAD, BUXTON
WHEN: 25 February and 26 February 2026 (between 09:30 and 15:30 each day)
WHERE: Liffs Road, Buxton between Jct. with Drury Lane and Dale Head Cottages.
REASON: To facilitate BT pole replacement.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Drury Lane, Main Street, A515 , Liffs Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
