What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(JEREMY ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Jeremy Road in both directions from its junction with Park Avenue to outside property 61.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 16th February 2026 until 18th February 2026.
The diversion route is: Himley Crescent, Park Drive, Park Avenue & vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a washout renew by Severn Trent Water.
