Crow Lane - Temporary Road Closure Extension
What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE EXTENSION
CROW LANE, CHESTERFIELD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 25 September 2025 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close Crow Lane, Chesterfield has been extended.
The alternative route will be via Crow Lane, Piccadilly Road, A632, Lordsmill Interchange, Lordsmill Street, St Marys Gate, Holywell Street, Saltergate, Donut Interchange, Brewery Street, Malkin Street and vice versa.
The road will be closed until 27 February 2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner to facilitate rail station platform reconstruction works. Any member of the public requiring further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
