Back Lane, Bumpmill Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BACK LANE, BUMPMILL LANE, BRACKENFIELD
WHEN: 23 February 2026 (09:30 to 15:30).
WHERE: Back Lane, Bumpmill Lane, Brackenfield between jct. with Cross Lane and Bumpmill Lane.
REASON: To facilitate Telecom tree works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Back Lane, The Green, Church Street, Matlock Road, Dale Hill, Chesterfield Road, Bumpmill Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
