CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(DEADMANS HILL, CLOPHILL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Deadmans Hill, Clophill.
This temporary closure is required to enable gully cleansing work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 1 to 4 December 2025 between the hours of 8pm and 5am. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via A507, A600, A421, A6.
The Order will come into operation on 1 December 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(FLITTON HILL, FLITTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Flitton Hill, Flitton outside number 10.
This temporary closure is required to enable meter exchange works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on 4th March 2026 between the hours of 0900-1600. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Ampthill Road, Silsoe Road, Wardhedges and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 4 March 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of C100 Link From C100 Clophill Road To A507 Maulden Bypass, Clophill.
This temporary closure is required to enable concrete culvert installation and drainage works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 2 to 14 March 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure will be via Clophill Rd, A6, A507 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 2 March 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Windmill Road, Flitwick between numbers 7a and 18.
This temporary closure is required to enable drainage construction works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 3 to 9 March 2026 between the hours of 0800am and 1800pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via A5120, Steppingley Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 3 March 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Ampthill to Maulden Bypass, Ampthill between Flitwick Rd Roundabout and Shell Garage Roundabout.
This temporary closure is required to enable Tree work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 16 to 27 February 2026 Closure 16th to 20th Feb to take place from 0800-1800hrs Closure 23rd to 27th Feb to take place 0900-1530hrs. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via A6, A421, C94, A507 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 16 February 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Bluebell Drive, Lower Stondon from the junction with Pollards Way for approx. 15 metres.
This temporary closure is required to enable water main installation works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 16 to 27 February 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Bluebell Drive, Pollards Way and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 16 February 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(HAYNES: BRIDLEWAY NO. 17)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Central Bedfordshire Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot or on horseback or lead a horse or cycle along the length of Bridleway No. 17, Haynes which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 1014 4153 to OS GR TL 1018 4124.
This temporary closure is required as a culvert is in disrepair. The closure is expected to take place from 6 February 2026 for up to six months.
There is no alternative route for bridleway users while the closure is in operation.
