What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(ON STREET PARKING PLACES)
(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT)
(CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO 86)
(MAIN STREET, MELBOURNE) ORDER 2026

1. On 4 February 2026, East Riding of Yorkshire
Council made this Order which will be operative
from 4 February 2026, the effect of which will be
to amend the existing School Keep Clear restrictions
from School Keep Clear No Stopping Monday to
Friday, 8am - 9am and 3pm - 4pm to School Keep
Clear No Stopping Monday to Friday, 8am - 9am and
2.30pm - 3.30pm and also to amend the existing Bus
Stand restrictions from Bus Stand Monday to Friday,
8am - 9am and 3pm - 4pm to Bus Stand
Monday to Friday, 8am - 9am and 2.30pm - 3.30pm.
2. A copy of the Order and relevant plan may be
examined during normal office hours at Pocklington
Pocela Centre, 23 Railway Street, Pocklington,
YO42 2QU.
3. If you wish to question the validity of this Order or
of any provision contained within it on the grounds
that it is not within the powers conferred by the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds
that any requirement of that Act or any instrument
made under it has not been complied with in relation
to the Order, you may, within six weeks from
4 February 2026 apply to the High Court for this
purpose.
