TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ON C0217
DRUMHARRIFF ROAD, WHITECROSS
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure in its capacity as Road Authority
and acting in pursuance of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited the use of the above named road to through
traffic, from the junction of C0217 Finnegans Corner to the junction of U5150 Carrowbane
Road from 08:00 on Monday 02 February 2026 until 18:00 on Friday 27 February 2026.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate work by DFI Southern.
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being diverted via:
C0215 Drumnahunshin Road, B0134 Tullyah Road, A0025 Newry Road,
A0025 Newtown Road, A0025 Old Road, C0217 Chapel Road.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ON B8
CASTLEWELLAN ROAD, HILLTOWN
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure in its capacity as Road Authority
and acting in pursuance of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited the use of the above named road to through
traffic, from the junction of U6095 Clonduff Road to the junction of U0221 Fofany School Road
from 09:30 on Monday 09 February 2026 until 16:30 on Friday 06 March 2026.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate work by Peter Fitzpatrick Ltd.
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being diverted via:
B0008 Castlewellan Road, B0008 Main Street, B0025 Rathfriland Road, B0025 Hilltown Road,

Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure in its capacity as Road Authority
and acting in pursuance of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited the use of the above named road to through
traffic, from the junction of A27 Needham Bridge to the junction of A2 Sugar Island from
Sunday 08 February 2026 until Sunday 15 March 2026.
Times are as follows:
Monday to Friday Night closures - 19:00pm - 06:00am
Sunday Closures - 06:00am - 20:00pm
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

traffic, from the junction of U6294 Barrack Street to the junction of A27 Kildare Street from
Sunday 08 February 2026 until Sunday 15 March 2026.

Monday To Friday - Night Closures 19:00pm - 06:00am
Sunday - 06:00am - 20:00pm
