Temporary Prohibition of Use of Footpath 34 (part) Weston Rhyn
Shropshire Council has made an order temporarily prohibiting the use of Footpath 34 (part) Weston Rhyn at Pentre Wood grid reference SJ 2728 3709 travelling through the woods along the River Ceiriog before heading in a south westerly direction to meet the road in Bronygarth at grid reference SJ 2678 3700.
An extension has been granted by the Secretary of State allowing the Order to continue to be in force from 4th February 2026 until the 4 th February 2028 or until the works are completed whichever is earlier. It is required on the grounds of public safety due to the severely eroded and unstable ground.
There is no alternative route available.
