U66B - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (U66B from Newton of Sandford to Sandfordhill - 09.02.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 09.02.26 for 10 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the U66B from Newton of Sandford to Sandfordhill.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during lining and stud works. An alternative route is available via the U66B, A90, U66B and vice versa.
