What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON HILLSWAY AND CHAIN LANE, LITTLEOVER, DERBY
WHEN: 16 February 2026 to 22 February 2026 (08.30 to 16.30 Hours) Daily
WHERE: Phase 1: Hillsway, from its junction with Pastures Hill and Burton Road Roundabout, for a distance of approximately 20 metres. Phase 2: Chain Lane, from its junction with Pastures Hill and Burton Road Roundabout to its junction with Dovestone Gardens. Multiway Signals to be used at roundabout
REASON: Carriageway resurfacing
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Phase 1: Burton Road – Old Hall Road – The Hollow – Hillsway (and the same in the opposite direction) Phase 2: Burton Road – Constable Drive – Kings Drive – Uttoxeter Road – Corden Avenue – Chain Lane (and the same in the opposite direction)
