What is happening?

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(HIGH STREET, KINGS HEATH) (17117087) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF STOPPING) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be;

i) to prohibit any vehicle from Stopping on the west side of HIGH STREET between its junction with Silver Street and its junction with York Road.

ii) to prohibit any vehicle from Stopping on the east side of HIGH STREET between its junction with Highfield Road and its junction with Poplar Road.

The temporary Order is required to enable highway works to be carried out in safety.

These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Order will come into operation on 02/02/26 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
