Commercial Road - Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Commercial Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.30) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 18th February 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
ISAMBARD KINGDOM ROAD
Loading bay outside No.4-6 Isambard Brunel Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate bridge works on Commercial Road.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 18th February 2026 to 19th February 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 22:00 - 06:00.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian, cycle and vehicle access will be maintained around the works under marshal control.
