The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (Yorkshire & Humber) (No.2) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a western part width of highway as lies off Linden Grove at Maltby, in the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. This is to enable development as permitted by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council under references RB2025/0440 and RB2024/0033.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov. uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/6157). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Maltby Library and Neighbourhood Hub, Maltby Leisure Centre, Braithwell Road, Maltby, Rotherham, S66 8JE.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 29 January 2026. N Crass, Casework Manager
