What is happening?

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL

(A45 COVENTRY ROAD ETC BIRMINGHAM)
(TRAFFIC REGULATION) (RED ROUTE) ORDER 2022) (1208 VARIATION) ORDER 202*

NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council propose to make this Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53, 101 and 102 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended) the effect of which will be as follows:

1. To introduce No Stopping at any time restriction on a length of COVENTRY ROAD.

2. To introduce a Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 7am to 7pm 1 hour no return 1 hour restriction on a length of COVENTRY ROAD.

Full details of these proposals are in the draft Order which, together with the plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for the proposals, will be made available on request (Contact Yin Liu Tel: 0121 675 4409 : email: yin.liu@birmingham.gov.uk).

Any person wishing to object to the proposals should write to the Director – Infrastructure and Sustainability, Place, Prosperity & Sustainability Directorate, Birmingham City Council, PO Box 14439,

Birmingham B2 2JE stating the grounds for objection by 19th February 2026.
