SECTION 14

(WATER LANE, PONTEFRACT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 31) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install new water connection to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Water Lane, Pontefract from the junction with Dandy Mill Court to the junction with Dandy Mill View. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Water Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: A645 Bondgate, Box Lane, Ferrybridge Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

2nd February 2026 to 6th February 2026, between 08.00 hours and 17.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(ENGLAND LANE, KNOTTINGLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 37) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for annual level crossing test to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: England Lane, Knottingley. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of England Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: England Lane, Weeland Road, Womersley Road, Spawd Bone Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

16th February 2026 at 22.30 hours to 17th February 2026 at 05.30 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(POPLAR AVENUE, CASTLEFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 38) 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for new water supply connection to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Poplar Avenue, Castleford at 22 Poplar Avenue. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Poplar Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Poplar Avenue, Crewe Road, Fryston Road, Holywell Lane, Sheepwalk Lane, Poplar Avenue & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

16th February 2026 at 08.00 hours to 20th February 2026 at 20.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
