What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: that part of Chicken Hall Lane between its junction with Tower Lane and its junction with Bishopstoke Road. 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 2nd February 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 month and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day). 
The Temporary Road Restriction has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for JB Utilities to complete gas mains replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: customer@sgn.co.uk.
