Selvage Lane, Temporary Road Closure & Restrictions Due To Carriageway Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Section 14(1) Temporary Road Closure, Temporary Waiting Restrictions And Temporary Loading Restrictions Selvage Lane NW7

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works, they have made an Order which will:

(a) ban vehicles from entering or proceeding northbound on Selvage Lane NW7, at its junction with the North Circular Road (Apex Corner);

(b) restrict vehicles to single file traffic on the southbound exit of Selvage Lane from Apex Corner;

(c) suspend all waiting and loading ("At Any Time") on both sides of the aforementioned length of Selvage Lane, while the works take place.

The works will commence on Monday 9th February 2026 between 9:00pm and 5:00am and is expected to last for 4 nights.

The alternative route for motorists will be via: Selvage Lane, Hale Lane, The Broadway.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
