PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(HEDGEROW WALK) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting pedestrians from proceeding on Hedgerow Walk in its entirety.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of six months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 2 February 2026 until 13 February 2026.
The pedestrian diversion route is: Long Furrow, Barnhurst Lane, Barnhurst Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a new main gas replacement by Cadent Gas.
