Warren Avenue - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Warren Avenue) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.20) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 4th February 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
WARREN AVENUE
From its junction with Euston Road to its junction with Hollam Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach duct and cabling works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 4th February 2026 to 10th February 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Warren Avenue, Milton Road, Rodney Road, Velder Avenue, Euston Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
