What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(LEITH CONNECTIONs) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 – TEMP/26/21

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate Leith connection construction works, no person shall drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on both sides of Duncan pl, from 29m south of the extended south kerbline of John’s Pl, southwards for 106m. The alternative route for through vehicular traffic will be by way of: Duncan Pl, Duke St, Easter Rd, Vanburgh Pl, Hermitage Pl, E Hermitage Pl, Links Gdns, Links Pl, John’s Pl & Duncan Pl. The bus lane on Links pl, southeast side shall be suspended in so far as it is affected by this Order.

The Order shall have effect from 02/02/26 to 22/05/26.
