ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1)
U9516 SIXTH AVENUE EIGHTH AVENUE AND TWENTIETH AVENUE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily close the following sections of roads in Blyth and to hereby suspend the one-way system on Sixth Avenue in Blyth as described below in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 18th February 2026 until the 20th February 2026.

Road Closures:

•    U9516 Sixth Avenue from a point at the front of 108 Sixth Avenue heading north westwards for a distance of 40 metres.

•    U9516 Eighth Avenue from a point at the front of 39 Eighth Avenue heading northwards for a distance of 105 metres.

•    U9516 Twentieth Avenue from a point at the front of 86 Twentieth Avenue heading northwards for a distance of 100 metres.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Twentieth Avenue, Twenty sixth Avenue, Twenty fifth Avenue, Newlands Road, Fifteenth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, Twelfth Avenue and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. Suspension of One-Way System:

This temporary order will hereby further suspend the following Order in its entirety for the duration of this Temporary Traffic Regulation Order.

•    Northumberland County Council (Sixth Avenue Blyth One Way Traffic Restriction) Order 2018” (TROM_078) dated 7th February 2018.

This will enable two-way traffic to travel on the U9516 Sixth Avenue from its junction with Fifteenth Avenue heading southwards and then westwards for a distance of 115 metres.

It is expected that the road closures and the suspension of the one-way system will only be in place on the 18th February 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00; however, the order will remain in place until 20th February 2026.

The road closures and the suspension of the one-way system has been requested by Northumbrian Water to carry out sewer CCTV survey works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1)
U6514 MONKSEATON TERRACE NEWBIGGIN ROAD BACK LANE ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6514 Monkseaton Terrace Newbiggin Road Back Lane Ashington from a point at the rear of 92 Newbiggin Road heading eastwards for a distance of 33 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 19th February 2026 until the 6th March 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 19th February 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00; however, the order will remain in place until 6th March 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Milburn Road, Newbiggin Road, Newbiggin Road to Monkseaton Terrace Link and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to cleanse the sewer and carry out a CCTV survey. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

VARIATION ORDER 45

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, intends to make the above-named Order.

The effect of the Order, if made, will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by introducing the following new parking restrictions in Blyth:

1)  There will be no waiting at any time on sections of Wharton Street.

2)  There will be an extension to the current prohibition of stopping on school entrance markings applying Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00-17:00 on Warwick Street.

The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order. A copy of the draft Order, together with the maps that form part of the Schedule to the Order and any other relevant documents, notices or Orders as appropriate as well as a Statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available to view or download on the NCC Website:

U9556 FOOTWAY OUTSIDE 5-12 ORMSKIRK
GROVE AND 2-16 ORPINGTON ROAD
CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on that section of the U9556 Footway Outside 5-12 Ormskirk Grove And 2-16 Orpington Road from a point at the front of 8 Ormskirk Grove heading eastwards for a distance of 11 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 10th February 2026 until the 27th February 2026.

It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 10th February 2026 until the 14th February 2026, the footway will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th February 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the Footway Between 16 Orpington Road And 5 Ormskirk Grove Road, Footway From Orpington Road Outside 2 To Oakley Dive Outside 10, Footway Outside 12 Ormskirk Grove and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to install a new boundary box. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

U9508 RAVENSDALE GROVE AND MILLDALE AVENUE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 9th February 2026 until the 9th August 2026.

Road Closure

U9508 Ravensdale Grove from its junction with Briardale Road to its junction with Milldale Avenue for a distance of 200 metres. U9508 Milldale Avenue for its entire length.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 9th February 2026 until the 13th March 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Briardale Road, Tynedale Drive, Brierley Road and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to remove the flagstones and carry out footway resurfacing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

U9547 RIPLEY DRIVE ROMFORD CLOSE
AND RICHMOND WAY CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highwaysinCramlingtonintheCountyofNorthumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 4th February 2026 until the 4th July 2026.

Road Closures:

U9547 Ripley Drive from its junction with Richmond Way to its junction with Dudley Lane for a distance of 140 metres. U9547 Romford Close from its junction with Ripley Drive heading southwards for a distance of 50 metres. U9547 Richmond Way from its junction with Ripley Drive heading southwards for a distance of 65 metres.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 4th February 2026 until the 6th February 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 4th July 2026.

There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

U9536 LYSDON AVENUE AND SEABURN VIEW,
NEW HARTLEY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in New Hartley in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 5th February 2026 until the 6th March 2026.

•    U9536 Lysdon Avenue from its junction with Mountford Road heading southwards for a distance of 33 metres.

•    U9536 Seaburn View from its northward junction with Lysdon Avenue heading south eastwards for a distance of 32 metres.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 5th February 2026 until the 18th February 2026 and that the roads will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 6th March 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Bristol Walk Hartley Court,Alston Road, Melton Drive and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested byApplebridge Building Services to install outfall drainage. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
