What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

LODGE ROAD, FLECKNEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC 

ORDER 2026

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 03/03/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake replacement of a defective manhole frame & cover.

ST MARYS ROAD, MARKET HARBOROUGH

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/03/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake new connection works.

MERE ROAD, UPPER BRUNTINGTHORPE

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC 

ORDER 2026

The Order will come into force on 09/02//2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 weeks to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake mains renewal works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

SCHEDULE 1

Mere Rd, Upper Bruntingthorpe for its entire length.

ELM LANE, CATTHORPE & MAIN STREET, SHAWELL

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC 

ORDER 2026

The Order will come into force on 06/02/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days at each location to allow Cityfibre to undertake new installation works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

SCHEDULE 1

Elm Ln, Catthorpe; Main St, Shawell – for their entire lengths.

VARIOUS ROADS, HARBOROUGH DISTRICT

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC 

ORDER 2026

The Order will come into force on 02/02/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days at each location to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway maintenance & drainage works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

Loddington Ln, Loddington & East Norton; East Norton Rd, Hallaton; Catthorpe Rd, Shawell – for their entire lengths.
