CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

WALLBANK DRIVE, SHIPLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of Chevron TM (construction works) proposed to be executed on or near Wallbank Drive, Shipley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Wallbank Drive from its junction with Shipley Fields Road for approximately 110 metres in a northerly direction.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Wallbank Drive (unaffected section), Valley Road, Shipley Fields Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 9th of February 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 20th of March 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
