The effect of the order as confirmed is to vary the Doncaster
Borough Council Public Footpath No. 5 Askern Footpath
Diversion Order 1999 so as to (1) stop up the unrecorded path
running from grid reference SE 5597 1351 generally southwestwards for some 120 metres to grid reference SE 5588 1344;
(2) stop up Askern footpath no. 5 running from grid reference SE
5594 1349 generally south-westwards for some 85 metres to
grid reference SE 5588 1344 and create an alternative footpath
instead on a line running from grid reference SE 5594 1349
south-westwards for some 89 metres to Green Lane at grid
reference SE 5588 1344; and (3) improve the public footpath
running from grid reference SE 5596 1352 south-westwards for

is a reduction in width to 1.5 metres for a distance of 10 metres,
then continuing south east for 515 metres to the parish boundary

A bridleway with a width of 3.5 metres commencing at the parish

plan) and proceeding east for 25 metres to grid reference SE

in width to 1.3 metres for a distance of 10 metres. Continuing

Notice is hereby given that on the 28th day of January 2026 the
City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the provisions of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the 2nd
day of February 2026 will be to introduce a No waiting at any
time restriction on the following lengths of road:-
a) Edlington Lane, Edlington
South-east side
From its intersection with the extended south-western kerbline of
Fielders Way for a distance of 64 metres in a south-westerly
direction.
b) Fielders Way, Edlington
South-west side
From its junction with Edlington Lane for a distance of 60 metres
in a south-easterly direction.
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading
goods, in connection with building industrial or demolition
operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic, the
maintenance of the roads and the services therein in pursuance
of statutory powers or duties, for the collection and delivery of
postal packets or if it is a vehicle being operated by or on behalf
of the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnerships while
carrying out roadside monitoring or enforcement operations. The
usual exceptions for disabled persons vehicles are also included
