THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
B818, Fankerton from 09:00 until 17:00 on 01/02/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes B818, Fankerton from a point adjacent to Grahamshill Terrace in a westerly direction for approximately 850 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B818, A872, A803, A891, B822, B818 or vice versa.
Brackenlees Road by Skinflats from 07.30 hours on 02/02/2026 until 17.00 hours on 08/02/2026. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing works.
1. This Order temporarily closes Brackenlees Road for a distance of approximately 1450m from its junction with A905, to Stonehouse Farm.
2. The alternative route:
a. Travelling Northbound: Brackenlees Road, A905, A88 South Bellsdyke Roundabout, A905, Bowtrees South Roundabout, A905, Brackenlees Road.
b. Travelling Southbound: Brackenlees Road, A905, A88 South Bellsdyke Roundabout, A905, Brackenlees Road
Church Street, Stenhousemuir from 07.30hrs on 02/02/26 until 17:00hrs on 06/02/26. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes Church Street, Stenhousemuir from its junction with Central Drive to its junction with Munro Street.
2. The alternative route is: Union Street, King Street (B905), Muirhead Road, Central Drive, Church Street and vice versa.
New Hallglen Road from 07.00 on 03/02/26 until 17.30 on 09/02/26. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes New Hallglen Road form its junction Dochart place for approximately 340m in an East direction
2. The alternative route: New Hallglen Road, B8028 Hallglen Roundabout, Glen Brae, B803 High Station Road, Cow Wynd, St Crispins Place, Arnot Street, Corporation Street, Bellevue Street Roundabout, Callendar Road, Bellsmeadow Roundabout, Callendar Road, Callendar Park Roundabout, Callendar Road, Mary Street Roundabout, B805 Old Redding Road, B805 Redding Road Roundabout, Hallglen Road and vice versa.
South Broomage Avenue, Larbert from 07.00 on 03/02/26 until 17.30 on 09/02/26. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing work to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes South Broomage Avenue from its junction with Carronvale Road in a westerly direction for approximately 230m.
2. The alternative route is: South Broomage Avenue, Main Street (B905), Carronvale Road and vice versa.
