Chevin Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CHEVIN ROAD, BLACKBROOK
WHEN: 02 February to 13 February 2026 (between 09:00 - 16:00 and open at all other times).
WHERE: Chevin Road, Blackbrook 75m from its Jct. with Farnah Green Road for approx.30m.
REASON: To facilitate drainage repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Chevin Road, Farnah Green, A517, A6 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
