Derby Road - Temporary 30mph Speed Limit

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT
DERBY ROAD, LOWER KILBURN

WHEN: 05 February to 06 February 2026 (between 19:00 to 06:00 only)
WHERE: It will be necessary to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph, for 350M along Derby Road, Lower Kilburn, starting approx. 200M from Jct. with A609.
REASON: For safety while road surface works take place.
The restriction will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire - 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 30mph.
